Children
Children are very welcome.  We ask that they are well behaved and that children under 14 years of age do not visit after 8pm.  We can offer half portions of any item on the menu

Ramblers & Walkers
The Hook & Hatchet sits within the 600 acre Hucking Estate managed by the Woodland Trust, with miles of lovely walks starting form the pub.  Free maps are available in the lobby.  We appreciate that we have the only tables & toilets on the estate and we are happy for ramblers & walkers to use our facilities.  If you have dirty boots, please clean them off before coming into the pub.  You are welcome to eat your own lunch but only on the very top tables on the grassed area, not on the patio or gravelled area.  Please clear up and take away your rubbish

Horses & Riders
We welcome Horses & Riders to use the hitching rail whilst you enjoy a relaxing drink.  You are welcome to bring your own horsebox and park at the far end of the car park fir the day and ride out from here.  Please ring ahead if you wish to leave your box, and please clear up after your horses.
